Refund Policy
This policy explains how Aethonex handles refunds for discovery calls, audits, deployment work, and ongoing management services.
1. Discovery Calls
Free discovery calls are not billable and therefore are not subject to refund.
2. Paid Audits or Strategy Sessions
If Aethonex offers a paid audit, workshop, or advisory session, the fee is generally non-refundable once the session has been delivered or preparation work has started. If cancellation occurs before work begins, a refund may be offered at Aethonex's discretion or according to the specific engagement terms.
3. Deployment Fees
Infrastructure design, setup, implementation, and deployment fees are tied to professional work performed and are generally non-refundable once execution has begun. Milestones, payment schedules, and any exception terms should be defined in the signed commercial agreement.
4. Monthly Management Fees
Recurring management or support fees cover monitoring, maintenance, updates, and operational support during the active billing period. Fees already earned for an active period are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
5. Client Cancellation
If a client chooses to cancel an engagement, refund treatment depends on the signed agreement, the work already completed, committed hosting or tooling costs, and any notice period requirements.
6. Service Failure or Billing Error
If you believe you were billed incorrectly or that Aethonex materially failed to deliver the agreed service scope, contact us promptly. Verified billing errors will be corrected, and any refund or credit decision will be handled according to the engagement terms and applicable law.
7. Custom Contract Terms
Where a signed proposal, statement of work, or master services agreement includes refund, cancellation, or credit provisions, that agreement governs the commercial relationship.
