Engagement Terms
The commercial boundaries and operating terms that govern fixed-scope Aethonex engagements.
1. Scope and engagement basis
Every engagement is governed by a written scope document agreed before any work starts. The scope specifies the workflow, the deliverables, the exclusions, the timeline, the fixed fee, and who owns each output. Nothing outside the written scope is implied or included.
2. Fees and payment
Fees are fixed in USD and payable before work begins unless agreed otherwise in writing. Payments are processed through official PayPal invoices or merchant links; bank transfer is available on request for Sprint scopes. Engagements are fixed-fee projects: there are no subscription fees, automatic renewals, or implied retainers.
3. Environment and customer control
Delivered systems run inside customer-controlled infrastructure (such as your own cloud or hosting account). Administrative access is provisioned for the engagement and rotated or revoked at handover. Aethonex does not retain administrative access after handover unless a separate engagement is explicitly signed.
4. Ownership and intellectual property
Upon full payment of the agreed fee, you receive administrative access to the environment, the source code and configuration created specifically for your workflow, and written runbook documentation. Any underlying open-source foundations remain subject to their respective licences.
5. Scope changes and additional work
If either party identifies a need to change the scope during delivery, work on the change will not proceed until a written addendum or new scope is approved. Scope additions are priced separately.
6. No guarantees beyond scope
Aethonex does not offer performance guarantees, savings guarantees, or automatic refund commitments. Diagnostic outputs (such as the SaaS Exit Blueprint) reflect our professional assessment of the materials shared by the client. We do not guarantee specific financial results from implementing findings.
7. Confidentiality and data handling
Both parties agree to treat business context, technical configuration, and data shared during the engagement as confidential. Systems are configured to process client data within the customer-controlled environment agreed in the scope.
